Three products I’m loving this week:

1: Bare Escentuals makeup. It took me a few weeks to totally get the hang of these products, but now I am officially in love. Soft, sheer makeup that really does look pretty and natural. I also love that it is easy to go lighter or heavier on the coverage depending on what kind of day you’re having. If you’ve never tried it before, I’d definitely recommend going to the store and having a full application done.

2: Buxom Lipgloss. Also from Bare Escentuals, but for sale at Ulta and Sephora, as well as other retailers. It’s supposed to plump up your lips with a mint extract and while I don’t buy into the lip plumping at all, I do love the minty smell. It’s like a gloss combined with Burt’s Bees chapstick. Total heaven.

3:  Mary Kay Microdermabrasion. I tried this out under duress (read: at a Mary Kay party. Blech.) and thought it was a little harsh at first. We tried it only on one cheek and that cheek was red for hours. Still, I bought the set and have tried it a few times at home and love it. My face feels noticebly smoother and I am certain that my wrinkles have totally disappeared. Ok, maybe not the wrinkles part but my face is smoother and the intensity of the scrub is lessened significantly when you are doing your whole face and not just one cheek. I used the product about an hour ago and I’m not red at all ( and this is from someone with VERY sensitive skin.)

And one product I hate this week: Bic Soleil Razors ( the re-fillable kind.) I put up with that thing for months because I got it, and five cartridges, for free. It tore the living hell out of my legs and underarms. Ouch. I replaced it with a Venus yesterday and so far, so good.
